ACCESS CENTER

MISSION + VISION

The mission and vision of Carolina Nephrology
is to provide quality healthcare services to our patients.

Dialysis Vascular Access

Dialysis vascular access is a crucial component of effective dialysis treatment, ensuring patients with kidney disease receive the care they need. Our specialized team offers advanced procedures to maintain vascular access, providing a lifeline for those undergoing hemodialysis. With a focus on patient-centered care, we use minimally invasive techniques to ensure long-term access functionality and improve quality of life. Click HERE for more information.

Peripheral Arterial Disease

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs—most often your legs. This reduced blood flow is usually due to the buildup of fatty deposits (atherosclerosis) on the artery walls. Click HERE for more information.

Venous Disorders

Venous disorders affect the veins that return blood from your limbs back to your heart. One common condition is Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI), where weakened valves allow blood to pool in the legs. This can lead to varicose veins, leg swelling, pain, and skin changes. Other conditions, such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), may also arise and require prompt treatment. Click HERE for more information.

"We are so grateful for Gail Kirby and Dr. Purcell. They discovered serious issues with my husband that were corrected a couple of years ago. I have been in healthcare for almost 40 years and understand good healthcare. Gail Kirby and Dr. Purcell certainly go above and beyond with their care at Carolina Nephrology."
