History of Carolina Nephrology

North-Coombes Nephrology Associates and Piedmont Nephrology Associates, both in practice since 1978, merged to become Carolina Regional Nephrology Associates (CRNA) in 1994. CRNA then expanded to include a number of satellite offices, providing convenience to patients, while maintaining high quality healthcare. Patients are now seen at locations in Greer, Easley, Laurens, Simpsonville, on Mills Avenue in downtown Greenville, and at our Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic off of South Pleasantburg Road.

CRNA has since evolved into Carolina Nephrology, PA. The name change reflects our company vision of reaching out to serve new patients in a wider geographic area across the Carolinas. Carolina Nephrology continues to grow to ensure we can help more people across the Upstate of South Carolina receive Excellence in Kidney Care.
