Timothy Brown, DO, FACP

Dr. Brown was raised in northern Greenville County, and graduated from Clemson University. He pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry prior to transitioning into medicine. Dr. Brown obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and was Commissioned as a United States Army Officer. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Brooke Army Medical Center and residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

He appreciated the practice of Hospital Medicine and teaching medical trainees within Graduate Medical Education for 8 years prior to sub-specializing in Nephrology. Dr. Brown completed his Nephrology fellowship at Houston Methodist, Texas Medical Center/Weill Cornell College of Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Brown’s practice has encompassed inpatient/outpatient nephrology and dialysis care at private practices and Veterans facilities along the northeastern coast of South Carolina.

While on active duty, Dr. Brown completed two combat deployments to the Middle East in support of the Afghanistan War and Operation Enduring Freedom. He remains active as a Major in the United States Army Reserves, and his military service has been recognized with numerous honors. Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his family, both in the upstate and coastal areas of South Carolina. His hobbies include fitness, cooking, traveling, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
