Today, Carolina Nephrology’s Zachary Sutton, DHA, MS, MSPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA, FAC, had the opportunity to speak at Emory University during the Southeastern Kidney Transplant Coalition’s 15th Annual Meeting.
Zachary participated in the panel, “The Lived Experience: Living Donation and Transplantation,” sharing perspective on living kidney donation, transplantation, and the importance of keeping the patient and donor experience at the center of transplant care.
Living donation can be transformative not only for recipients, but also for donors, families, and the broader kidney community. Conversations like these help transplant professionals better understand the real-world experiences behind the clinical process and identify ways to improve education, access, support, and outcomes.
Carolina Nephrology is proud to support continued collaboration across the Southeast to advance kidney transplantation and living donation.
